Sir Cool 1, muslim pray facing mecca not because the god were there, but it was a symbol of unity.. muslim believe god has no place(space n time).. simply as you said, muslim believe Allah is everywhere but of course not in term of space n time..

shrilekha, no he is a bit right because Muslims before they pray in the direction of meca we were praying in the direction of (bit el makdes) but to his religion Hugo he think that the jesus had been crossed there but this not true because the jesus didn't die he was someone like him the god had fallen it to trick the people and then he rised the jesus to the heaven with his body and his soul and this is a miracle bec when someone die his soul rises only to the heaven and we should burry his body and thus jesus is considered the only prophet to be alive until now yes this a fact had been recorded in the Holly Quran
