In which U.S. state is Yale University located?

Philadelphia is not a state.

It's the 4th oldest: Harvard, College of William & Mary, St Johns College, then Yale.

Yale and Princeton are the first universities to have ice hockey 🏒 just before the turn of the century.

I never realised that Yale predated America by 75 years! It was a great place to study Scripture and it's students continue to bring it credit in every sphere of learning.
