elizabeth bennett, I agree what price these animals suffer for human amusement in fact we are the most destructive creatures on this planet.

elizabeth bennett, I can't remember ever actually enjoying a zoo or circus experience. And it dawned on me but these creatures are in jail. They are enslaved.

I personally think that all zoos and animal acts for entertainment should be abolished.

Animal acts may be one thing. they could definitely be considered to be cruel and inhumane, but zoos offer a lot for animal husbandry and conservation of species. Without zoos most of us would never get to see some of these beautiful creatures alive and some of the species would probably be extinct. God knows mankind has caused the extinction of many species in the wild.

Player #31303000, yes I know what you mean, with the conservation of the species of animals, maybe we should not be too quick to judge the zoo's or any other conservation projects... as you say, we have got a lot to answer for! the human animal!

Sharon, but Chester zoo do a lot for conservation and management of the species, so don't think we should do away with all zoo's somehow... animal acts, yes I'm with you 100% on that one, but zoo's, you'll have to make up your own mind on this...
