Angel, I certainly agree that this sort of thing must be stopped on a global basis and there are many agencies at work toward that end. Every country should take the initiative to keep it's wildlife protected from poachers, hunters and assorted other lowlifes who (see above comments) are only interested in the money...or killing animals for 'sport'. However, even though the UN does run the World Wildlife Fund, they have far too many fingers in far too many pies around the globe...and their agenda is power not saving the planet or it's fauna.

Player #7111099, I was recently in South Africa and saw hundreds of elephants, all with their tusks because the UN got all countries to ban the import and export of elephant tusks. But sadly, the government has a massive de-horning project for their rhinos. China considers the rhino horn a sexual potency aid. Only the mothers with babies don’t have their horns removed so they can protect their babies. The UN needs to address this issue!
