In which English county did the Great Train Robbery take place?

I remember it well. We were living in London at the time so it was on our doorstep, so to speak.

While I think it is interesting to learn about Buckinghamshire, I think this answer would be much better if it outlined what happened to the Great Train Robbers after the robbery.
