Roo, almost without exception books are better than the films that are supposedly based on them.

My father bought all of his books and I still read them all regularly. Surprised that more haven't been made into films although I reckon the books are better than the films they have made already.

Nevil Shute’s name is spelt Nevil, not Neville. As a quick google search would have told them.
