Nixon was a "glutton for punishment" - never one to miss an opportunity to demean himself in one manner or another. Most folks have little, if anything, good to say about the man; but I see him as a sympathetic person who understood himself even less than others did. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't believe he did any great harm. The Watergate fiasco was certainly an ugly chapter in history, and it's what he will be remembered for. That is a shame because I think he really did love his country & wished only well for it.

I believe pres. Nixon got the u.s. out of Vietnam Nam. there are quite a few Vietnamese people here.i guess we can't complain about him too much. he might have been elected again if it wasn't for watergate.

Love that show, laugh a lot. Not like some shows nowadays that they are full of foul language.

I remember LBJ on there. He just looked into the camera, totally deadpan, and said "He who cannot laugh at himself will find that others do it for him.". I was stunned, so many people disliked him, and I lost the ability to dislike him right then.
