TheInfidel2018, agreed. but we do need to know of the past and the sad bad experiences that happened around the world historically .. and currently .. and learn and gain understanding both in personal and societal respects and move forward to the next moments choosing to live in a better kinder respectful accepting inclusive of each other and when we look to the future let it be with hope and belief we can and will do good

Diver Dan, agreed and recognising this .. and other historical events around the world and cultures but the point made is we need to learn from these dark parts of human history and find ways to be better kinder valuing respectful inclusive and understanding of each other .. and ourselves ... do we do not continue to live in the past in the dark and bad but instead in a world that gives hope care and the best it can to each other. whatever the issue the moment the event in life ....the past happened .. there were experiences effects and I learning but we cannot carry the past to the present moment. we can live in the present moment and make it dark or light by using our experiences and making choices for good and not being held in fear or anger or sadness ..our choices release us from repeating past bad . the future .. it's not here yet so we can look to blue skies New days new moments with hope and knowing how to be the better and do good.
