In which year was the Bahaus School of Design closed?

When I read that it closed in 1933, I knew the Nazis were behind it.

I Googled Why it closed, and as I suspected: The Bauhaus school was forced to close in 1933 due to mounting political pressure and Nazi persecution, viewing it as a center of "cultural Bolshevism" and "degenerate art".

The question that should have been addressed was why the school was shut down.
