Which ingredient is the main one in any jelly?

I thought fruit was the main ingredient in any jelly.

Again with the failure to distinguish between American English and the rest of the world English. In everywhere but America jelly is the wobbly dessert made with gelatine (a cattle by-product, look it up) and jam is made with pectin. In America jam is jelly.

I know because my mom used to make and can her own jelly.

Seems like it should be sugar. That's what is listed first on the label.

NOT the main ingredient. The fruit would be the main ingredient
