This term "Annus mirabilis" was originally used to refer to which year?

Chris, don't be silly. Great fire of London was 1666 (and gets mentioned in the confusing text). It was the Battle of Hastings which happened in 1066.

I guess it was a miraculous year, as many expected some sort of disaster or calamity. The fact they were able to live to 1667 may have been the miracle.
