lily 21, That's news to me. Students in classes with me would sit there writing in Braille. They were given nothing. I was amazed.

As a sighted person who has drawn my fingers along a Braille page, I'm amazed at the sensitivity that blind people must develop in order to read it. It was just a bumpy surface to me. People born blind would likely have an advantage over those losing sight later in life. All that our brains have to learn is done so most effectively when we are babies; with connections in the brain, what we don't use we lose.

Very very intelligent he was really. At the age of only three, he became blind but he did a very great work. He made all the blind literate indeed. I salute him and his hard work.
