RushMama2112, I don’t think anyone from Australia might realize her comment wasn’t meant to be derogatory. Australia is fascinating & so is all of their Fauna. Reptiles included. One of our favorite shows is Sea Patrol filmed in Queensland Australia.

I would like to know why the Male dies after mating?
TJ19
millwallmarty, the Male praying mantis doesnt die after it fertilizes a female. The female may sometimes eat the male. This also applies for most spiders.

Arwen933, Unless, of course, they come from the Galapagos.
