[bobbo16], Orchard? To me, and orchard is a collection of fruit trees. Wild blueberries grow very close to the ground. I must have picked thousands of pounds of wild blueberries as a kid with my parents in Canada. Even cultivated blueberries are just shrubs. Now, saskatoons grow on trees and they look very similar to blueberries so cultivated saskatoon trees could be described as an orchard.

loco, I live in fear of it daily myself :( watched Alzheimer's strip away my grandmother's memories, then her personality, and eventually her ability to speak, eat, use the bathroom, or walk. Eight years it took, to finally claim her. But for the last two years she was a lost, scared soul hiding in the husk that used to be her body. She tried to communicate, to say ANYTHING but could only grunt. I was there from the diagnosis to her death bed, for eight long years. I've had severe PTSD ever since....
Poppadom69
There is no scientific evidence for this claim.

DSDA, I can remember my aching back picking wild blueberries as a kid for my mom, mostly in the Interlake region of Manitoba and in north-western Ontario. As far as the saskatoon goes, Saskatchewan holds it in such high esteem that they named a city after it.

Similar studies show benefits of walnuts. Both should be consumed daily. It’s all about prevention. No downside to either one.

I love blueberries 🫐 They're a great late night snack. I try to keep a bowl in the fridge for those moments when I go to the fridge and open the doors, looking for some little thing to munch on. They also make great treats for your dog! Many dogs love them.
