I remember reading the book...then falling in love with the movie (and most of its leading men during my teenage years )

I remember being told, after reading the book in English class, that S. E. Hinten was a woman and only 17. I was inspired to write. I love the poem "Nothing Gold can Stay" by Robert Frost. Lovely poem.
