Birdiemom,
Yup. Make it into a paste, slap it on the splinter and cover with a plaster. Leave it for a few hours, remove plaster and splinter will come with it.☺ You can also buy it ready made from a pharmacy - it saves any hassle.

A couple of tablespoons watered into a potted gardenia every couple of months promotes lots of blooms.

Epsom salt is amazing! Don't think I would have been able to walk without it, LOL. I have had two spinal surgeries. It really eases the pain when you soak in the tub!!

My feet love to soak in this stuff when it’s mixed with warm water. Helps a great deal when your feet hurt.

I once ended up with a rather large piece of glass completely embedded in my foot. The doctor prescribed Magnesium Sulphate paste and with in a few days, the glass was sticking out of my skin to be able to remove it. (I'm diabetic and suffer from complete loss of feeling in my feet)

me, Wrong - Dad used to take a teaspoon of it in warm water as a purgative. I hated it.
