Sharon , I am not sure if the RAF has the same testing for the Army. But did you know that many snipers are actually colourblind? so someone applying for the Army would not necessarily be knocked back for colour blindness.

My brother always wanted to join the RAF, but as he has an unusual type of colour blindness he was turned away, many years ago. Don't know if that's changed since.
