I am from the Balkans and I am pretty sure Moussaka is not traditionally prepared with lamb meat! Pig or beef, it depends on the country you are in. Wrong answer!

Another Balkan member here, I agree with the rest, that's not how we traditionally prepare it. We almost never use lamb for this dish.
