There’s an aquifer in Pahrump, NV, an hour West of where I live in Las Vegas and a town I visit on a regular basis, for the past decade. Originally the Southern Paiute inhabited the land naming it, Pah-Rimpi, meaning water rock. This aquifer extends into Utah and a very tiny portion into Vegas.
