As of 2019, how many horses have won the American Triple Crown?

Player #8264216, I have been watching the Triple Crown races or just keeping up with them, since I was 11. I use to train race horses in the 1980's!! My best was 2nd place, in New Mexico. it is a very competitive sport!!
