They played at City Park Stadium in New Orleans in 1964 and I was 5. My dad took me to the airport to see their plane land. I never forgot it!

They came to Denver in '64 when I was 12. My parents weren't willing to pay the $7.00 per ticket. I guess that was pretty high then.

Elton played keys and sang harmonies on "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" and was so sure it would be Lennon's 1st number 1 solo hit he made a bet that if it did, Lennon would have to appear & perform it at one of Elton's shows. Sadly it was his last live performance.
