What continents does the Suez Canal separate?

thinking about the panama canal. i knew the answer jumped to fast.

Technically, it “connects” the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, rather than “separates” Africa from Asia.

Kiel, exactly, it was created to connect those two bodies of water, and not to separate the two continents. The question should be corrected
