TRUE CANADIAN Laurel, Agreed, the reason what is now Australian Rules Football was started in the 1890's was to keep the cricket players fit over the winter months. Basically, if you get bored easily don't watch a cricket match where the players are dressed in white.

RushMama2112, depending on the level of comprehension you need, that's true of every sport. Cricket is simply "score more runs than the other team." same as baseball, and probably just as easy to explain as baseball.
