ChewyGazelle68623, barbaric outdated so called sport. This sort of disgusting thing should not be happening in today's world. How can people pay to go and watch a defenceless animal be tortured in this way before finally being put out of its misery is beyond belief. iI have no sympathy for the matadors who are injured by the bulls.

Player #96919, I agree with all of you regarding bull "fighting". I am against any kind of fighting among animals; be it dogs, or roosters or bears, whatever as "sport". It's bad enough that men want to pound the stuffing out of each other, but they at least have a choice. The animals don't.

I was taken to a bullfight when I was about 14 and it was horrific then - that was 50 years ago.
Portia
Totally outdated and cruel.

Rodeos and when they catch young cattle is just as cruel, they often break the cows neck.

TriGlide, Yes, corrida means running. In Spain it's the usual name for what we call bullfighting. So I have no problem with the question and answer.

While I completely agree with everyone's comments here, hasn't everyone skipped over the fact that corrida means to run. Not bullfighting.
