Laudy Miss Claudy, concorde is smaller than most modern airliners, particularly the A380.
Ultimately, it was politics that killed Concorde.

Laudy Miss Claudy
The Concorde could only travel at supersonic speeds when it flew over the oceans. When it flew over land it created a loud sonic boom and so the Concorde could not fly at top speed across the United States. Also the airplane was so large that many US airports couldn't accommodate it in their terminals.
And those are just two reasons that I can recall as to why the Concorde

BlueQ
I remember hearing the sonic boom every morning at precisely 8:09am

VividPotion6704, Concord in Flight always reminded me of a DOLPHIN. SLEEK & SMART

For comparison,
A non-stop flight from London to New York only takes 8h 10 mins.
Concorde takes roughly 2 hours 52 minutes and 59 seconds
So the percentage difference is 64.69 percent approximately!!!

Donna
I have heard that a version of the Concorde may be flying again soon [as of December 2021].

Laudy Miss Claudy, Concorde was really very small, carrying at most 128 passengers. The interior had one aisle with just 2 seats either side, like a coach.

Donna
No longer being used in USA!

Actually Concorde was smaller and much louder. The accident at JFK in close proximity to the The yard of The fueling company caused its demise. JetA or aircraft fuel is highly explosive and flammable.

SOOTI
A flight on Concorde was on my bucket list.
