Where is the Sistine Chapel located?

Vatican City is a separate country. The Sistine Chapel is in Vatican City it is not in Italy (even if it is surrounded by Italy).

I was in the Sistine Chapel when in Rome and Vatican City. Beautiful artwork to be found in both places.
