I was always taught and have believed that it is wrong to charge for any type of spiritual work. If the person receiving the training, goods or whatever wishes to give you something, that is different.

teansendental meditation was around thousands of years before Maharishi !!!

nerdmom660, wow I didn’t have that experience but then again it was a few years back & I was younger. Sadly that happens to all too often doors to spirituality teaching practices are only opened with a bit & more often than not a lot of money.

I looked into it a few years ago. I learned that you can't really learn this type of meditation on your own, you need a teacher, and the program costs a few thousand dollars.
