Who is the man in the picture?

Dr King was a great man. It is a shame his life ended way to soon. I believe if he had lived he would have been elected president.

Have so much admiration for this man. He was only 39 yo when assassinated. What great things he might have accomplished if he hadn't been taken too soon.

Unfortunately Dr. Matin Luther King's 1963 dream is yet to become a reality as people of colour continue to face inequality, discrimination and racism.

If there are some hidden from the general public recordings of him saying terrible things when not in public, how did the information about their existence get out? I'm glad that no cares to record me because Ive said some very horrible things that I regret later and I would not want others to judge me by my moments of anger and outrage that I've let out when in assumed privacy. Also there could be some very embarrassing stuff I've said and done as well.

VictoriaValentina, Nelson Mandela was most certainly not sentenced to death! He was sentenced to life imprisonment (26 years) He lived to age 92- i think. He was elected president of South Africa in 1994 and died of old age in 2013.
