Labradoodles are not a breed. Breed of dog means that the two parents will produce like offspring. So, purebreeds reproduce exactly what they are. "Doodles" are cross breeds, aka Mutts.

JulesMcGrath65, Mutts are the best dogs unless you are a dog snob and has to have a "purebred ".Mutts are not as nervous at least mine weren't.

labradoodles are ideal for a blind person who is allergic to dogs as they have the quiet temperament of the labrador but like the poodle they don't shed much fur

The dog shown is a mixed breed, not a true breed..a cross between a Labrador and a Poodle

"oodles" may be mutts/mongrels but you would be lucky to buy one for under $AUD2,000.00 they're usually around $3,000 to $6,000. Most people don't like the look of the poodle, but they are the most intelligent dog and if the "oodle" has the poodle coat then they don't shed hair, so perfect for people with allergies.
