A whole new rich vein of questioning:
“ Who didn’t do what?”

Milo
Liked it. The right answer is fake.

If only he lived through climate change scepticism even though there is scientific proof....
So his quote is true...

CyanJaguar62
He may not have said it, but it sounds like something he would say and unfortunately it is all too true.

tia
How very, very true!

I think it's kinda funny that an American writer came up with that...

My favorite book by Mark Twain is "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court." It is laugh out loud funny.

Kiwozzie, what about the next step? Could any amount of evidence sway those who believe in global warming/climate change as a result of human interaction?

Player #141097520
RushMama2112, how can you know that. It used to be “the earth is cooling(another ice age);” then the earth is warming(global warming);” and now it’s been tweaked to “climate change(convenient🤔). I’m sure in his writings Mark Twain may have commented about the days getting warmer, or this being the coldest winter ever, but is not evidence of a belief in any type of climate domes day. Arbitrarily deciding political positions of anyone no longer here is very wrong.

Kiwozzie, he would have been merciless towards deniers, and rightly so.
