Which person accidentally invented carbonated water?

I have been drinking seltzer water all of my life. In the summer I’d come in from playing as a child and drink cold seltzer water from the ice box. It was the most delicious beverage I’ve ever tasted!!! It’s is wonderful! I still drink it to this day and now I’m old! And I still love it!!! It’s still wonderful!!!
