Which year was the famed 'Rockettes Dance Company' founded?

I saw them years ago in NYC. Came home doing high kicks for about a year, then hurt my back from kicking high and falling on my tailbone

I was lucky to see them in Las Vegas once.

When younger I really wanted to be one but at 4'10"-I am far too short!

I've seen them at the Christmas show and they are fabulous ! Glad they've become more diverse now.
