What is "Muzak"?

Sometimes catchy, but sometimes annoying, especially on an elevator!

Maestro13, Yeah I know! I like some of the muzak! songs they play in the grocery stores!! and others uhh! I don't like it! and especially in my fave stores they be playing all of the good jams! but for the most part! love muzak music!

We had Muzak in one of the places I worked in as a young woman.

Saw a tidbit in the paper one day that Paul McCartney makes one nickel each time Yesterday is played. Because of Muzak alone, he makes $1,000,000 a year!
