Chronic fatigue syndrome is also referred to as what?

I experience all these symptoms and more. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia nearly 2 years ago aged 51 after suffering with the symptoms for most of my life. I find what I choose eat to be most beneficial as the medication has too many side effects.

As a medical doc and spouse of someone suffering with chronic fatigue, I recommended her the AIP diet and she feels much more energized nowadays....just my 2 cents

Arabella, I would swear you've just written about me. exactly. because I'm bipolar they say it must be in my head. I wldnt wish these symptoms on anyone, but I must admit I feel a bit better to know I'm not the only one. thanks Arabella & everyone else for sharing

Cha Cha, food choices haven't helped me. Not much has and I have had "it" at least 30 years. Tried a slew of meds and agree to some extent to you but I believe the psyxh drugs that affect serotonin levels, dopamine levels have some value. I believe that there is some type of neurological breakdown in the nervous system, especially affecting pain perception.

I am not able to sleep for years now ... always tired ... overeating ... high blood pressure ... chronic diarrhea ... leaky gut. But they always that I am fine.

Cha Cha, I suffer from it too, but I have found that eating foods that contain magnizium really helps to reduce the pain.

CFS/ME is a complex illness with many symptoms.
