Which ingredients are traditionally found in the culinary classic, succotash?

My grandmother used to prepare succatash with corn, baby lima beans and diced tomatoes...and it tasted quite good with a pork chop on the side.

My mother and grandmother loved, my siblings and I and our father hated it.

As a Yankee, I grew up with succatash. As an adult, lima beans are banned from our home. (ick)

My all time favorite combo of veggies!

Not a fan of lima beans, but can do a good imitation of the " sufferin' succotash!"
