I didn’t like Tupac especially when he played in Juice - his character was menacing and abusive, BUT after I sat down and listen to the lyrics (Mary Has A Baby) it just blew me away. I was raised in the 3rd Ward of Houston, Texas so I know that urban lifestyle - rough and tough. Tupac is as much of a poet as any of our American poets.
