In the American TV show "Dallas", which character dreamed the whole of the ninth series?

I remember all the hype.

We lived in the same apartment complex in Dallas where Victoria Principal, and other cast members, lived. The center of the complex had a park-like center area with a huge pond with fountain and had lots of ducks. The complex has since been torn down.
