Ceviche is a seafood dish originating in which country?

Mr_Hve_Fun, it is made in many south american and central american countries. each a little different. I prefer the Mexican version and make it often. it's one of my favorite dishes.

Ceviche is also made Mexico, I am thinking in Peru it would would not be spicy hot...some people poach the fish very quickly so it will not be raw, the acid in lemon or lime finish cooking the fish. Ceviche is good on Tostadas!
