Spent a night leaning up against a banyan tree in Maui. The local law enforcement officer told us it was illegal to sleep outside lying down so we huddled up against a very big tree and tried to keep from falling over. Ah, it was good to be alive in the 60's!

The beautiful banyan tree in Lahaina, Maui, burned in the recent fire. There is still hope that its roots are healthy and that it may survive. The people in Maui have suffered so much due to the fires of August 2023. So many lives were lost. 🙏
