What is this short hairstyle called?

some women look great with them and some DON'T

My mother always had my hair cut in a pixie when I was a little girl. It was easier for her to maintain for me than long and tangled.

DSDA, there were 4 of us girls so the easier the better, I hated it so now I wear my hair long

DSDA, I also rocked the pixie cut as a little girl. Now I wear my hair mid-length to just past my shoulders.

for some reason, this hairdo reminds me of tinkerbell. maybe because, she was a pixie.

I use to have a pixie when I was little. I also use to have hair to my knees!!
