Which of these is a national dish of England?
Correct answer: Roast beef
Unsanitized
The first sentence is hilariously redundant. In Britain we don't have an official national dish. If we had one it would likely be curry as another person suggested (at least nowadays). By the way, the French term "Les Rosbifs" is meant as an insult, they are suggesting that our cooking consists of nothing else. A bit rude but that's neighbours for you.

stashio2020, I made it once as part of a traditional English Christmas dinner. It was scrumptious!

I put my roast beef in the crock pot with potatoes and onions an at just water. It's really good on a cold day for supper! 😋
