Which is a large mass of wind-blown sand, and are most common in deserted environments?

Mariposa, Yeah my mom loves that movie dune!! I wonder if she has watched the other one and i think they're coming out with a number 3 or they already did! but. I don't really know?! but. I don't know if she is catched up on the movies!

Is it possible for a sand dune to become or be considered as mountainous, despite, or given, the debatable nature of when does a hill become more plausibly defined as a 'mountain'?

I grew up near the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The highest dune is called Mt. Baldy.
