Unfortunately plastic is NOT as recyclable as it's manufacturer's want us to believe. The best plan is to stop producing it and find more sustainable & often longer later materials. We lived well on this planet for thousands of years before plastic was invented. We can do it again. I lived next to a plastic recycler awhile back & had to move because it was making me sick from breathing in the air!

loco, Good points however, there are many nations who don't care one bit about the planet and too many here in the States that think it's "their right" to use as much plastic as they want. Early education around the world is a must.

we should go back to the days of glass bottles and cotton cloth diapers. the kids in the neighborhood would turn in the bottles for candy money and sodas tastes better in glass bottles.

Lottie Lilley-Coles , my friends couldn't believe I used cloth diapers in 88 and 89. I also nursed. I did have a few glass bottles for water and juice I had to stop nursing for 8 weeks when I had radiation. now my son recycles like we did when he was growing up. we also went around picking up aluminum cans when he was little and he kept the money. he would tell people he was saving the planet

inventions all about profit they dont think about the cause in the long run..intellectuality of every individual can be useful or harmful so try to remind ourselves before picking up something in the shelf from supermarkets, a 1 piece can still contribute an effect to our nature
