Which are leather straps worn over the shoulders to hold up trousers?

As a British person it's a good thing I watch a lot of American TV programmes, otherwise I wouldn't have known this. It's not helpful saying that the British word is braces if that's not in the question.

Older people usually where suspenders. But, some my age do too.

Perhaps this question is aimed at an age group a bit older than me, I'm 62. I say that because I've worn suspenders and like them, but have never seen leather ones here in the United States.
