Great idea. Bring in a piece of the forest and stash it under your bed. I wonder what crawled out of it when it warmed up.

Player #14000636, I agree! The question should ask what the log is called, not what "type" it is.

Stored it under a bed! Yikes! Wondering how many houses burnt because log wasn't completely out?

Uninitialized, you can buy little packets of the chemicals. People use them for campfires. I don't know how safe it is to use indoors

Love the history of traditions. So many times we just do these things because we grew up with them and have no idea why. Thank you, this one was wonderful!

Which Tyler
Player #29089582, out of 44. European countries, it's traditional in UK, France, Germany, Belgium. Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark - at the very least. So 22% at the very least (Wiki includes the Balkans for a few more, and I think Ireland has have something similar)
You not being familiar with it =/= it not being traditional
