Who was Artemisia Gentileschi?

Great to hear of a woman at that time although I had never heard of her before.

She was a great artist in a time when women were blocked in so many ways. She was abused by her art teacher. Her revenge was painting him as Holofernes. Too bad she couldn’t do more, and that her talent never reached full fruition.

I did guess right from Japanese anime 'Arte'.Its about painting too.

I love art ..just find it amazing that with some old and new 'tools' they made such beautiful pictures! wonder what they sold them for??
