"11.22.63" TV series is based on the novel by which author?

I'd never heard of the book or the series. There was a Twilight Zone episode about a time traveler trying to prevent Lincoln's assassination. the JFK assassination of course shook the country. One odd artifact I wish I'd kept was a Superman comic book. Superman traveled through time by flying around the earth, opposite the the orbital direction, at super speed to try to prevent the tragedy. Of course it didn't work for some reason.

The book was excellent. The TV adaptation changed some basic details from the book.

Watched the series. Great concept story.

I enjoyed watching that series on Hulu.
