In which year and country was the first filling station for gasoline established?

My Grandfather got me my first job when I was 10 yrs. old. I did it after school and weekends.I also washed their windshields and checked the oil, and. sometimes checked. the air in tires. My Grandfather was a mechanic and radiator specialist. This was in 1965 and gas was 25 cents a gallon. I was paid 25 cents an hour. and thought I was rich!! Tjose were the good old days!! He taught me alot about working on cars. He also told me too never depend on a man to take care of you!! I nevèr have either, always had a job!! .RIP Gramdpa!!
