Sad how short the life expectancy was back then.

Player #13250071, Just as most people did in those days, you were considered lucky to reach the grand "old" age of 40. One of my favourite past times is looking around old grave yards and a high percentage of the ones I've read are of people that have died young. I was also shocked at the many children that died before they had even reached the age of 5. So sad to read

Zoro surely you have heard of Jane Eyre as well as wuthering heights? I believe they all died from TB there were younger siblings who also died young. Bramwell was a drunkard.

luckycatfay, in researching, Charlotte's official cause of death listed is TB but researchers believe her actual cause of death was pernicious morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum).
