I missed this one because pottery is both an art form, and utilitarian. Therefore, my logic is that it falls under the umbrella, so to speak, of cultural anthropology. Archaeology, being a more broad field of study, would encompass a wider range inquiry. Does that make any sense? I didn't think so.

Cultural anthropologist also study pottery. This is a terrible question and explanation. This person suggests that culture did not exist before written history. There are current people with no written language that certainly have culture. I argue that it has always been this way.
